Connecting with the coast means taking time to absorb the feeling of the sea beneath your hull, the scent of salt and coastal succulents on the breeze, the sound of waves fizzing like champagne on the rocks.This connection becomes an instinctive map we can use to enhance our kayaking, where features become recognisable through sensory perception and lived experience.
